CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - A teen who was awaiting sentencing on burglary charges has been arrested for allegedly burglarizing another home in Clarksville.

Taivaun Bell, 18, was charged with aggravated burglary.

Police said a 30-year-old man was asleep at his home in Ann Drive around 5 p.m. Wednesday, when he heard a knock on his door. He looked outside, did not see anything, but heard noise inside his home. He walked out of his bedroom, and saw a man inside his home.

The man fled, but was found walking on Bell Road, wearing different clothes. The victim identified Bell as the man who had been inside his home.

Bell had been released on his recognizance on May 18 after pleading guilty to two counts of aggravated burglary. He was scheduled to be sentence on July 11. At the time of those crimes, he was a juvenile but they have now been transferred to adult status. He turned 18 two days before the most recent burglary.

Bell was held on $50,000 bond.
