NASHVILLE, Tenn. – An ice cream maker raised money for a local community center by giving out 10,000 scoops of ice cream in downtown Nashville Thursday.
Denali Flavors, the maker of Moose Tracks, teamed up with Rocketown youth center for the "10,000 Scoop Challenge". For each scoop, Denali Flavors donated one dollar to Rocketown, leading up to $10,000.
A handful of volunteers came out to help support the cause, including NewsChannel 5 anchors Vicki Yates and Rhori Johnston. They turned it into a competition of who could hand out the most.
