Police Stop Man Riding Lawnmower On I-65

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A strange scene caused some backup on a local interstate on Thursday night.

Police stopped a man riding a lawnmower on I-65 south, near the split with I-40.

There was no word on whether the driver was cited or charged, or why he was riding the lawnmower on the interstate.

Four people were seriously hurt in a single car crash in Maury County Monday. One of the victims hurt was a 5-year-old boy. Three of the victims were not wearing safety belts.
