COOKEVILLE, Tenn.- A road
trip to California was stopped short in Cookeville when police realized how the
two friends planned on paying for it.
Douglas Andrews and Mark
McNeil were pulled over by the Tennessee Highway Patrol for speeding.
That's when the officer
found several empty bags, an electronic scale and white powder.
The men allegedly
purchased Percocet and then planned to resell it to try and make enough money
to make it to California. They are both being held in Putnam County on
possession charges.
