NASHVILLE, Tenn. – One person was injured after a pickup truck flipped over a bridge and landed on a parked vehicle.

Police said a semi truck rear-ended a Ford F-150 around noon Monday on the bridge over 28th Avenue North on Interstate 40 in north Nashville. The collision caused the pickup to skid along the side of the bridge, then flip over the side.

It landed on some trees, then turned over onto a construction truck underneath the bridge.

The driver of the pickup truck was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with serious injuries. The victim's name was not released.
