Nashville Drowning Victim Identified

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Metro Police have identified the man who drowned Sunday afternoon in a pond near Nashboro Village.

Police said the man was 43-year-old Marcus Scruggs. According to police Scruggs' wife reported him missing that afternoon after he left their Nashboro Village Boulevard home very upset. A witness said they saw Scruggs go into the pond, but did not see him come back up.

On Monday, an officer located Scruggs body near the shoreline of the pond.
