CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.- A repeat DUI offender is behind bars again after police said he was inhaling dust spray while driving.
Timothy Shields has a lengthy record including 3 DUIs and 2 charges for sniffing inhalants. The latest charges came Sunday, when police say they found Shields' car wrecked on Richview Road in Clarksville.
When the officer tried talking to Shields police said he picked up a can of "Ultra Dust" and began inhaling it. Police said he was also driving on a revoked license.
Shields was arrested and taken to the Montgomery County Jail where he was held on a $21,000 bond.
