Man Charged In Drug-Related Shooting

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A man has been arrested for allegedly shooting a man inside his home during a drug deal.

Joseph Dunlap, 23, was charged with attempted criminal homicide.

According to a police report, Mark Brown was at his home on Westchester Drive on June 3 when Dunlap came in asking for drugs.

Police said Dunlap pointed a gun at Brown and demanded the drugs. When Brown tried to run away, he was shot multiple times. Dunlap allegedly stole $100, and fled the scene.

Brown is still recovering at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
