Proposed Crematory In Spring Hill Passes First Vote
SPRING HILL, Tenn. – The Spring Hill planning commission approved a proposed crematory on first vote.
The city planning commission approved a sketch plan on Monday night with a four to one vote.
The Spring Hill Memorial Park and Funeral Home wants to build the crematory at its Main Street location.
The funeral home went before city leaders last year, but got turned down when neighbors complained about safety and health issues. However, a study revealed there was only a small chance the crematory could harm the public.
Commissioners will vote on a final plan on July 9.
