Man Charged In Murder Of Kentucky Woman

ALLEN COUNTY, Ky. – Kentucky State Police have arrested a man in the murder of a 22-year-old woman in Allen County.

Charles M. Copass, 34, was charged with one count of murder.

Police said the body of Chelsey N. Mahaney was found Monday night lying on the floor of a home on Barren River Dam Road in Scottsville.

The cause of death was not released, but an autopsy will be performed.

Copass was booked into the Allen County jail.

No other details about the arrest were made.
