Police: Man Stole Cars From Side Of Road, Sold For Scrap

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A man is behind bars accused of stealing broken down cars from the side of the road and selling them for scrap.

William Brown Junior was charged three counts of felony theft.

Police said Brown stole three cars from the curbs of busy roads, and sold them at an auto parts recycling company the same day.

In all, he walked away with about $20,000.

It was not clear if the victims will be able to get their cars back.
