NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Traffic was backed up on Wednesday morning after a crash involving two semi trucks on Interstate 40 westbound.
The crash happened around 6 a.m. Wednesday at Fesslers Lane.
Sky 5 HD showed a tractor trailer had been rear-ended by a box truck in the westbound lanes. The cab of the box truck was smashed in. At least one other car and a motorcycle were also stopped.
There was no word on injuries.
Emergency crews were blocking the two left eastbound lanes, but that was cleared by 7:30 a.m.
All westbound lanes were re-opened by 8:15 a.m.
