NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Metro Police have arrested a man they believe was responsible for robbing several Nashville pharmacies over the past week.

Police said the most recent robberies happened around 6 p.m. Wednesday at the CVS in the 4500 block of Harding Pike and the Walgreens in the 5300 block of Harding Pike.

Officials arrested William Reeves Nicks after receiving an anonymous tip.  Detectives went to his home after receiving information about the suspect vehicle in the robberies, and took him into custody.

Inside his vehicle, they found the clothing he was seen wearing during the robberies, along with empty prescription bottles inside a CVS bag.

During a consented search of his home, they found more pill bottles and other clothing believed to have been worn during three previous robberies last week.

During an interview, he allegedly confessed to robbing three other Walgreens stores in Nashville over the past week.
