Thief Steals BBQ Restaurant Cooking Oil

BEDFORD COUNTY, Tenn. A slick thief has been making off with some unusual loot from a Shelbyville restaurant.

A manager at Whitt's Barbecue on Madison Street told police someone drained a tank of waste cooking oil behind the restaurant over the weekend. And it's not the first time these deep-frying bandits have struck.

The manager said thieves have made off with the slippery spoils several times over the past few months.
