Teenager Shot Following Robbery

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A teenager was shot overnight following a robbery.

Police were called about a robbery at Jefferson Street and 14th Avenue South. A couple said three men stole everything from them, including a gun.

About 15 minutes later, the pair called police again because they heard gunshots in the distance.

Officers responded to the 1500 block of Delta Avenue, and found a 17-year-old teen was found shot in the leg.

The teen was taken to the hospital. Police said he will be charged with aggravated robbery.

Police are still looking for two more suspects.
