NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The Hermitage, the Nashville home of President Andrew Jackson, will have special presentations every Sunday through September.
The programs will focus on Jackson's early life, friends of his such as Sam Houston, his military career and music of the 19th century.
This Sunday's presentation is on portrait painter Ralph E.W. Earl.
The Hermitage is a 1,120-acre National Historic Landmark with more than 30 historic buildings. Jackson is buried on the grounds, east of Nashville. Tours are done daily.
