SAINT JOSEPH, Tenn. - A 320 gallon propane tank at a casket factory went up in flames and police said it was no accident.

A Saint Joseph Police officer was on patrol on Saturday, June 2 when he heard an explosion and saw flames shooting twenty feet in the air. When the officer investigated he found a propane tank next to Saint Joseph Casket Factory engulfed in flames.

Fire crews knocked down the fire and extinguished a pallet of cardboard that had also ignited.

After investigating officials found a small device, two small propane tanks taped together and used to ignite the larger one.

Police said their investigation led them to a 20-year-old Cody Gray, who has a history of arson cases. Gray allegedly confessed and now faces arson, reckless endangerment and vandalism charges.
