LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - A day care owner is closing her three Louisville centers after a fatal crash involving a van from the day care.
The Courier-Journal reported the owner of Heavenly Angels Childcare has notified the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services that she will voluntarily close the facilities.
Cabinet spokeswoman Gwenda Bond said Heavenly Angels isn't currently caring for children.
The crash killed a monitor in the van and injured the driver and 14 children.
Five of the children are still hospitalized, and a spokesman said three are in intensive care, including one in critical condition.
The woman who died was 31-year-old Tiffany Belk. The driver and the children have not been identified.
