Nashville Roundtable Friday To Discuss Obesity

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Former Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist will join others on a panel Friday in Nashville to discuss childhood obesity.

Frist, a surgeon, is honorary vice chairman of the Partnership for a Healthier America, led by first lady Michelle Obama.

The panel is one of a series of roundtables being held around the country by the group and Family Circle magazine. The gatherings are to address the implications of childhood obesity on families and businesses.

Obama is not listed as attending.
