Bicyclist Injured in Hit and Run Accident

MURFREESBORO, Tenn.- It could be Monday before police get a clear picture of what happened during a hit and run that happened Saturday morning.

Police say it was just after midnight in Murfreesboro at the intersection of Rutherford and Mercury Boulevard. Police say bicyclist, David Faulkner, was hit by a car and that the driver left the scene. No one witnessed the crime, but there are some red light cameras at the intersection, and police hope those cameras caught what happened.

They say they won't be able to get that information until at least Monday. Faulkner, was taken to Vanderbilt Medical Center where he's in critical but stable condition.
