NASHVILLE, Tenn.- The sound of jazz and blues was in the air near bi-centennial mall Saturday. The annual Jazz and Blues Festival got underway around noon and continued up until 9:00 Saturday night.

Howard Hewett and several other artists played for fans from the amphitheater at Bicentennial Capitol Mall. This is the 12th year for the Jazz and Blues Festival.

And some visual arts were also on display Saturday. The American Artisan Festival continued for a second day at Centennial Park. This festival displays an eclectic mix of arts and crafts from more than 150 vendors.

There are plenty of food trucks and even some free children's art booths. The final day of the American Artisan Festival is Sunday. It runs from 10:00 until 6:00.
