SPRINGFIELD, Tenn.- The Springfield man who survived a lightning strike this weekend returned home Sunday, but when he got there, his electronics were not working at all.
Doctors at Vanderbilt already suspected that David Allgood took an indirect hit from a lightning bolt during Friday evening's storms. Allgood was behind his home rolling-up the windows to his truck, when he was knocked-off his feet by a bolt.
Despite the hit, he was home Sunday celebrating Father's Day with his 9-year-old son.
