NASHVILLE, Tenn. - A former caregiver has been indicted on charges he allegedly abused one of his patients.

Corey London, 24, was indicted on one felony count of abuse or neglect of an impaired adult by the Davidson County grand jury on June 1.

London worked for Restoration Residential Services in Madison. On January 24, investigators said he was caring for a 26-year old dependent patient when he put the victim's foot into scalding hot water. The patient suffered second degree burns.

Police said London put the patient to bed, and did not get medical help. The injury was discovered the following day, and London was suspended.

He was arrested by Metro Police on June 12 and released on $7,500 bond.
