Springfield Man Killed In Accident In Mississippi

BAY ST. LOUIS, Miss. (AP) - Authorities said a 28-year-old man from Springfield died in a Mississippi motorcycle accident.

Hancock County Coroner Jim Faulk tells The Sun Herald David Gentry died in a crash Sunday night on Interstate 10.

The Mississippi Highway Patrol said Gentry was eastbound near the Louisiana state line when his motorcycle left the road and struck a tree.

The accident remains under investigation.
