Child Injured After Bottle Rocket Explodes In Face

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. – A child was injured in a fireworks incident in Hopkinsville, Kentucky on Monday night.

Witnesses said an 11-year-old boy pointed a bottle rocket at the face of another child, who was just three feet away. It exploded in the other kid's face.

The victim suffered burns and some bruising, but his eyes were not injured.

Police are still looking for the 11-year-old, who rode away on a bicycle.
