NASHVILLE, Tenn.- A Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper has been fired after an investigation into what the agency called "gross misconduct".
Officials said that Trooper Jonathan Reed was notified of his termination on Tuesday. In April two other THP officers were given a five day suspension for failing to report an incident involving Trooper Jonathan Reed on March 27 of this year. During the investigation the district attorney found no evidence of criminal activity by the two officers.
No details about the case involving former Trooper Reed were released.
