NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Metro Police have arrested a man they say was responsible for robbing a Murfreesboro Pike gas station at least four times.

Police said 43-year-old Darren Durelle Leake admitted to robbing the Mapco on Murfreesboro Pike on June 11th, May 23rd, May 7th and April 29 of this year. Leake also confessed to robbing the Mona Market at Murfreesboro Pike on June 19 and on June 9.

Officials said in each robbery Leake stole cigarettes that he then sold on the street to support his drug habit.

Leake was charged with six counts of burglary. He was jailed in lieu of $60,000 bond.
