Bedford Co. Jailer Charged With Selling Contraband

BEDFORD COUNTY, Tenn.- In Bedford County, a county corrections officer got to see the other side of a jail cell after being arrested.

Police said that 25-year-old Jeremy Tyre was arrested and charged with selling contraband to inmates. The Bedford County Sheriff said that Tyre would get $50 for pack of cigarettes and $100 for chewing tobacco.

Tyre faces official misconduct charges.
