Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Crash With Deer

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn.- A motorcyclist was seriously injured when he hit a deer on Trenton Road early Friday morning.

Police in Clarksville said the 41-year-old man was riding south on Trenton Road around 5:30 a.m. Friday when a deer crossed in front of the motorcycle. . The rider swerved to avoid a crash with the deer, crossed into the northbound lane, and collided with the side of a van.

The motorcyclist was taken by emergency medical helicopter to Vanderbilt University Medical center and was listed in critical condition. The driver and passengers of the van were not injured.
