Police Seek Tips in Violent Midday Robbery

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Police are looking for a group of men who they say staged a violent robbery Saturday afternoon.

Metro Police say just after 2:00, three or four men barged into a home at Meridian Mobile Home just off of Trinity Lane. They asked for a woman's purse then shot her in the arm.

When someone came out from another room to see what was going on, they fired another shot but missed.

That's when a second person in the home came out and fired back at the group as they were fleeing.

Police say they got away in a silver four-door sedan. Police are asking anyone who knows anything about what happened, to give them a call.
