NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Police said a New York man was attacked and robbed at his downtown hotel over the weekend after placing an online ad.
Police said 46-year-old Edward Bruno placed an ad on Craigslist offering money to massage and lick a woman's feet. Vivian Ferello answered the ad, and made arrangements to go to his room at the Hilton.
However, she was not alone when she showed up. Police said there were two men with her, who robbed him of money, laptop, iPad and chargers. Bruno was also slashed with a knife during a struggle.
Hotel staff saw Ferello and the two men running from the building. Security detained Dakota Arthur Davis, but Ferello got into a maroon Toyota Camry, driven by Brittany Huff. They fled the scene, but officers were able to find the car a short time later where Ferello and Huff were taken into custody.
Police said the trio confessed to planning the robbery during questioning. All three were charged with especially aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary.
Detectives are pursuing leads to identify the fourth suspect who got away and participated in the attack on Bruno.
