NASHVILLE, Tenn.- For decades Hope Hines came into your living rooms every night as the Sports Director right here at NewsChannel5. Mr. Hines is now enjoying retirement, but he is staying busy as he just finished his new book.
The book of memories is called In Hines' Sight: The Ups, Downs, and Rebounds of 40 Years In Sports Broadcasting.
Hope attended the Sportsfest at the Convention Center signing copies of the book and meeting and greeting fans. He said he enjoyed putting the book together.
"I looked forward to writing it, and now that it's over, I'm looking forward to talking to all the people who come in and autographing the book for a lot the people who come by," said Hope. "It's just been a real joy. I hope they enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
