Gunshot Victim Found In Road In Columbia

COLUMBIA, Tenn. - A 28-year-old woman was taken to the hospital after being found shot in the middle of the road.

Just after 2:00 a.m. Sunday, Columbia Police were called to the 900 block of Woodland Street. When they got there, they found Michelle Talavera in the road. She was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center by LifeFlight.

She was listed in extremely critical condition.

Columbia Police believe there are several witnesses, and they are asking for help to identify the shooter.
