APSU's Justin Blake Out With Poor Grades

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Austin Peay State University said senior guard Justin Blake won't return to its basketball program after being declared academically ineligible.

Blake, of Dyersburg, averaged 3.3 points per game last season, shooting 29.3 percent from the floor. His best season was his freshman year, during which he had a scoring average of 5.8 points per game. His career average with the Governors is 4.8 points per game.

Blake was effective at three-point range, connecting on 106 shots during his career for 33.9 percent.
