Water Conservation In Effect For Lawrence County

LAWRENCE COUNTY, Tenn.- Hot weather and little rainfall has drought hitting some parts of middle Tennessee.

In Lawrence County the Summertown Utility District has asked residents to conserve water. That means, residents have been asked to avoid washing their cars and watering their lawns. Right now the request is voluntary but if dry conditions continue, more restrictions could be added.
