Driver Facing Charges After Rollover Crash

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- Metro Police said alcohol may be to blame for a rollover crash that seriously injured one woman.

The wreck happened on I-40 East near Briley Parkway around 12:30 a.m. Sunday. Officials said that Jeremy McBride lost control of his SUV causing it roll over and ejecting his passenger 23-year-old Charlene Harris.

McBride admitted to police that he had been drinking prior to the crash.

His passenger, Charlene Harris was taken to Summit Medical Center where she was in critical condition.

Police said McBride faces vehicular assault charges.
