Woman Robbed At Local ATM

NASHVILLE, Tenn.- A restaurant employee depositing money was robbed at a local ATM.

The robbery happened around 9:30 Sunday morning on French Landing Drive in North Nashville. Police said that the woman came to the ATM to deposit money from the KFC restaurant.

While at the ATM she was rear-ended by two men in a black Charger with no tags. A black man got out of the car and asked the woman if she was ok. After speaking to her, the man then demanded the deposit bag and the woman's keys.

The suspect took the money and deposit bag and threw the woman's keys into the intersection of Rosa Parks and Vantage Way.

At that time a Metro Police officer arrived, responding to the call about the accident. The woman's screamed and alerted the officer that the man had stolen her money. The man who had taken the money ran from the officer, while the driver of the Charger fled in the car.

The Metro Officer was able to chase down and apprehend the man who had stolen the woman's money. The driver of the Charger was still on the loose.
