COOKEVILLE, Tenn. - A child in White County was rushed to the hospital last week after suffering from dehydration after living in a home with air conditioning.
Brent Webb found out about the family's need on Facebook and pulled an old unit from his bar & grill to give to the family. He didn't stop there though, he's mission now to help any family in need of water, a fan, or an air conditioning unit.
"We're going to collect all the water we can. I'm going to send my personal trucks out with signs to collect water in town. We're asking any local businesses if they can help us out. We'll do everything we can to make sure this does happen," said Webb.
Webb says he isn't looking for money, but tons of water, or fans that people can give away. Donations can be dropped off at the CB Bar and Grill in Cookeville.
