NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Power has been restored to dozens of residents near Green Hills after a tree fell on a transformer on Monday morning.
At the height, 500 Nashville Electric Service customers were without power near Clifton Lane, off Granny White Pike.
Clifton Lane was closed at Lealand Lane while NES crews worked to clear the tree and restore power.
There was the potential that the outage could become more widespread as people try and tap into the energy source.
