JACKSON, Tenn. (AP) - Jackson-Madison County General Hospital is collecting clothes in July for what it calls its "dignity closet."
The hospital needs brand new, large and extra-large underwear for adult men and women, adolescents and children. Infant and toddler-size socks also are needed.
According to a news release from the hospital, donations will go to victims of sexual and domestic abuse along with patients who need clothing to leave upon discharge.
Collection boxes are at the hospital and its affiliates.
