Police Want To Identify Man Who Robbed Gas Station

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Police are asking for help to identify a man who robbed a gas station in Clarksville early Saturday morning.

The man walked into the gas station on Madison Street around 5:30 a.m., purchased a cigar, and paid for it with a dollar bill.

When the clerk opened the register, the robber reached across the counter to take the money. The clerk fought back, and the men got into a struggle. The man was able to flee the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was hurt.
