Madison Apartment Complex Evacuated Due To Fire

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – An apartment complex in Madison was evacuated overnight after fire broke out.

It happened just before 2 a.m. Tuesday at the Hampton Terrace Apartments on East Palestine Drive.

Everyone in the complex was evacuated, but fire crews contained the blaze to one unit. They believe it started in the kitchen.

There was only minor damage, and everyone was allowed back inside around 3 a.m.

No one was hurt.
