Man Seriously Injured In North Nashville Shooting

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A man was seriously injured in a shooting overnight in north Nashville.

Police discovered the victim inside a parked car at a home on Meadow Court around 11:15 p.m. Monday. The man was shot once in the chest, and taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. His identity has not been released.

Investigators believe the man was shot in the area of Village Trail and Ridgeside Drive.

Detectives continue to follow up on leads, and were talking with two people who were with the victim at the time of the shooting.

No arrests have been made.
