CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - A Montgomery County judge was reprimanded after making accusations of misconduct against three attorneys involved in a dispute with his wife.
According to The Leaf-Chronicle, Kimberly Turner, Melissa King and Brian Hill are former employees of Carrie Gasaway.
Earlier this year, the attorneys asked Judge John Gasaway III to recuse himself from their cases because of their problems with Carrie Gasaway. That includes Turner filing a harassment charge against her.
Judge Gasaway published an order on the Montgomery County Court website denying their request but ordering that all their cases be assigned to other judges. The order also accused the attorneys of filing their request to defame his reputation and that of his wife.
The Board of Judicial Conduct reprimanded him for violating the judicial code of conduct.
