Buildings Lost To Grass Fire In Wilson County

WILSON COUNTY, Tenn.- Crews are on the scene of a large grass fire in Wilson County.

Officials said the fire started just before 4:30 p.m. on South Commerce Road. Wilson County Emergency Management Director John Jewell said that a house, a barn and several out buildings have been lost in the fire. He believes about 30 acres have been burned.

Most of the fire was contained, but crews remained on scene to put out hot spots.
