NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Metro Police pulled a body out of the Cumberland River near the Shelby Street Bridge in Downtown Nashville.
Officers recovered the male body around five a.m. Saturday. A crew member from a barge spotted the body floating in the Cumberland River. Investigators are trying to figure out the identity of the person and determine how long the body had been in the water.
Officials believe the body may be linked to an incident earlier this week where someone jumped off a bridge.
