Lawyers Want Woman To Pay Fees On Crime She Didn't Commit

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – An innocent mother was hounded by lawyers, demanding money for shoplifting at a Texas Walmart she's never even been to.

NewsChannel5 investigative reporter Jennifer Kraus asks why lawyers have demanded the mid-state woman pay money for a crime she never could have possibly committed.

"I knew I wasn't there, but how do I show them it wasn't me," she said. "I have not left Tennessee once."
