MANCHESTER, Tenn.- The state department of Environment and Conservation has issued a verbal warning to Bonnaroo organizers after runoff rainwater was dumped on private property.
Donna Presson says her family noticed an awful stench on her uncle's property after the festival wrapped up and traced it to a pipe at the edge of his land.
"It was awful. I mean it just stunk, you'd come back here you had to have something over your face," she explained.
Donna said a single pipe was pumping massive amounts of water and what she describes as sewage onto her uncle's land.
The state said Bonnaroo organizers shouldn't have pumped it onto private property and issued a warning to the group.
