Woman Critically Injured In South Nashville Shooting

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Metro police are investigating a shooting that happened early Saturday morning in south Nashville.

It happened at 3:30a.m. at the corner of Apollo Drive and Una Antioch Pike. The victim was an adult female. She was transported to Vanderbilt Hospital and is currently in the intensive care unit.

Investigators were at the hospital interviewing her to determine the motive of the shooting. Police said the gunman was not in custody.
