NASHVILLE, Tenn.- A Nashville man has been presumed dead after a rafting accident.
Authorities say the 58-year-old was on a river rapid tour when the raft overturned at the Jawbone rapid near the Georgia border. The man was wearing a flotation vest and a helmet but never resurfaced. It's believed he may be lodged beneath a rock in the river.
Five other people including the victim's wife and grandson were also flipped from the raft but are okay.
